What is Allergy?

An allergy is the response of the body’s immune system to normally harmless substances, such as pollens, foods, house dust mite. Whilst in most people these substances (allergens) pose no problem, in allergic individuals their immune system identifies them as a’ threat’ and produces an inappropriate response.

When you have an allergic reaction there may be a combination of the following allergy symptoms: Sneezing, wheezing, nasal congestion, coughing, itchy, watery eyes. Runny nose, itchy throat, stomach ache, itchy skin, hives, fatigue, irritability.

Types AND SOLUTIONS

What are the Types Of Allergy

01.

Bronchial Asthma

Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by bronchial hyperactivity and a variable degree of airway obstruction

02.

Conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis can be caused by a virus, bacteria or by allergies. Bacterial and viral conjunctivitis are
easily spread from person to person. Allergic conjunctivitis is not contagious.

03

G.I.T Allergy

Clinical symptoms of food allergy may affect not only the digestive tract, but also the respiratory system,
skin, or cardiovascular system.

04.

Drug Allergy

A true drug allergy is caused by a series of chemical steps in the body that produce the allergic reaction
to a medication.

05.

Occupational Allergy

An occupational allergy is an allergic reaction to a substance present in the workplace. Occupational
allergies are often contact or inhalation allergies

06

Anaphylaxis

Anaphylaxis is serious, potentially life threatening allergic reaction.

FAQ

Allergy test can be broadly classified into allergy blood test and skin prick test. Skin prick test in  recommended by world allergy organization and other international academies. Skin prick test is more sensitive than blood test. It is done at doctor’s office. Prick testing is safe, quick, less expensive and
better clinically co-related than blood test. Allergy blood test can be performed by ELISA Method, RAST Method and Immunocap method. The best among all three is Immunocap method. Your Doctor may combine Skin prick test and Allergy Blood test if required.

Allergy is a hypersensitive disorder of immune system. An allergy occurs when the body overreacts to an allergen or ‘trigger’ that is typically harmless to most people. The word allergy is not prejudiced with regard to its causes. So, allergy type reactions can be induced by either immune mechanisms (too much allergy antibody IgE) or by a direct hypersensitivity to an irritating fume, vapor or medication (as occurs
with codeine and strong perfumes).

Treating Allergy

The most important difference between allergy immunotherapy treatment and Conventional treatment is

Conventional Therapy : suppress allergy symptoms for a short time
Allergy Immunotherapy (AIT)  : We reprogrammed the body to induce immunological tolerance, thus altering the course of the disease

Allergy at a glance

Allergic rhinitis - popularly known as hay fever - is a widespread chronic disease.

cause allergies all year long.

Diagnostic Methods

The diagnosis of respiratory allergies is based on clinical history, physical examination, allergy tests and
specific questions.

Allergic Conjunctivitis

Allergic conjunctivitis is one of the most common and treatable eye conditions in children and adults

Outdoor Allergies

Seasonal allergic rhinitis affects millions of people. Symptoms range from a runny nose and congestion
to allergic asthma.

Why Choose Us

Living With Allergies

Allergies impact quality of life and can trigger asthma. Allergic reactions are a common, chronic, often debilitating condition. Today, more than one billion people worldwide are affected by allergies. The number of people who suffer from allergies has risen continuously over the past years, with higher incidence rates among children. Also, our favorite companions, pets, can also be affected by allergies.  Allergies impact quality of life and can trigger asthma
The limitations resulting from the body’s reaction to allergens are multifaceted but share one common theme: the patient’s quality of life is no longer what it used to be. People who are sensitized to aeroallergens develop allergic rhinitis with symptoms such as a runny nose, itching, watery eyes, respiratory congestion and fatigue. A possibly less well-known, and often underestimated consequence, is that allergies put people at a greater risk of developing asthma.

What We Offer

Worldwide industrialization and lifestyle changes have had a major impact on the development of respiratory allergies. Allergy immunotherapy can help patients to take control of their allergies by reprogramming their immune system.

Dust Mite Allergy

An allergen is a substance that causes an allergic reaction. Both the body parts and the waste of dust mites are allergens for many people. Most dust mites die in low humidity levels or extreme temperatures. But they leave their dead bodies and waste behind.

Pollen Allergy

Pollen is a very fine powder produced by trees, flowers, grasses, and weeds to fertilize other plants of the same species. It’s also one of the most common causes of allergies. Many people have an adverse immune response when they breathe in pollen.

Our responsibility

We aim to operate in a sustainable and ethical manner across our business and we underpin these aims with a range of policies and commitments.

Allergic Conjunctivitis

Allergic conjunctivitis is one of the most common and treatable eye conditions in children and adults.
Often called “pink eye,” it is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the tissue that lines the inside of the
eyelid and the white of the eyeball, and helps keep the eyelid and eyeball moist. Allergic conjunctivitis is
not contagious

Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis

Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis occurs at the same time each year. Most cases are due to pollen and occur in the hay fever season.

Vernal Kerato Conjunctivitis

VKC is a chronic bilateral inflammation of the conjunctiva, commonly associated with a personal and/or family history of atopy.

Atopic Kerato Conjunctivitis

AKC is a bilateral inflammation of conjunctiva and eyelids, which has a strong association with atopic dermatitis
